WOW, The last 7 weeks!

Wow were do I begin? Well on July 15 at 4 in the morning my water decided to break, at 34 weeks and 4 days, I was shocked! So I woke up Jason and he got Austin up and we took him to my parents house. We got to the hospital and they were doing the usual tests to see if it was my water (which I knew it was, but I know that is what they have to do). So yes it was my water, not pee! The labor was moving pretty fast, I had to be on penicillin for strep b so they were rushing that through me, which really BURNS in your arm. I ended up having him at 11:30 in the afternoon. They had to rush him to the NICU because he was a preemie. I didn't even really get to see him they rushed him so fast. While I was recovering and they where cleaning every thing up Jason went with Lincoln. Lincoln had a code blue while in the NICU about 1 hour after being born they gave him surfactant, which was supposed to open up him lungs, which it didn't it ended up clogging him ventilator, which was really scary! So after taking care of that he was on the ventilator, then c-pap, then the high flow oxygen at a level 6, which a level 6 is pretty high they told us, that lasted about a week in the NICU. Slowly he started come down levels on the oxygen. We finally got to hold him 3 days after being born. He was also on a feeding tube for awhile, I got to nurse him about 2 1/2 weeks after being born. So he was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks. A week after he was born I developed post-pardom pre-eclamsia and toxemia, so I got re-admitted for two more nights and got put on the shitty magnetism, till I was better. I am so glad he is home now, what a long process it has been. Lincoln needs to be on oxygen till November at least now, plus RSV season is coming up so we can not take him anywhere basically, since his lungs are already weak. But he is a strong little man, which I can't imagine my life without him. It has been hard, but well worth everything for this blessing in my life!
